One day after #4 Northeastern added a major piece to their roster with the addition of transfer Maureen Murphy, #2 Wisconsin bolstered their line-up in similar fashion when they announced that freshman Lacey Eden would be joining the team:

Eden originally committed to play college hockey at Princeton, but with the Ivy League cancelling their season, has instead opted to transfer in to Wisconsin.
Eden is a two-time member of the US women’s national U18 team, winning a silver medal in 2019 and a gold medal in 2020. She played two years of amateur hockey at Shattuck-St. Mary’s alongside current Wisconsin freshmen Makenna Webster and Casey O’Brien, scoring 111 points in 50 games last season.
She’ll instantly provide a more physical, gritty element to the Wisconsin line-up, as arguably the best power forward in the world for her age group. She’s a tough competitor that succeeds in tough areas of the ice and provides another dangerous scoring threat for the perennial national title contenders.
