UMass-Lowell received a big commitment from Okotoks Oilers forward John Edwardh. The Calgary, Alberta native tallied 18 goals and 19 assists in 54 regular season games in the Alberta Junior Hockey League. The 1995-born prospect really elevated his game during the league playoffs, notching 13 goals and six assists in 16 games played. It is presumed Edwardh will join UMass-Lowell for the 2014-15 season.

Brendan Whittet and his staff at Brown University continue to reel in some impressive recruits from the New England Prep School scene. Loomis Chaffee defenseman Zach Giuttari, a Warwick, RI native, announced his pledge to attend Brown for the 2016 season.
