College Hockey Recruiting: Krych commits to Minnesota State, Michigan and Dartmouth receive verbals

MSU Mavericks head coach Mike Hastings has not slowed down in his recruiting efforts with the new WCHA on the horizon.

Totino Grace (MN) High School defenseman Jason Krych has committed to Minnesota State. The '97, who's USHL rights are owned by the Tri-City Storm, played for the Fridley, Minn. high school this past season. Krych announced on his twitter account that he would play for the Mavericks.

This is the second big recruiting victory this offseason for MSU head coach Mike Hastings. Ohio State de-commit Zach Stephan announced he would play for the Mavericks this upcoming fall.

In other recruiting news, '97 forward Sam Miletic of the Cranbrook School has announced he would play for Michigan. The Bloomfield Hills, Mich. native is expected to play for the Green Bay Gamblers in the USHL. His OHL rights are owned by the London Knights.

After receiving a verbal commitment from Alex Jasiek the other day, Dartmouth has picked up another pledge. Chicago Young Americans forward Ryan Blankemeir has told Bob Gaudet he would play for the Big Green. The Oak Park, Ill. native participated in the recent USA Select 17 Festival for the Grey team.
