Bemidji State assistant coach and alum Ted Belisle is leaving the Beavers' program to become a scout with the NHL's Los Angeles Kings. Belisle, who played at BSU from 1997-2001, had been on Tom Serratore's staff since 2003.
Belisle, who served as captain of the Beavers his senior season, was largely responsible for recruiting many of the BSU players who helped the program to the 2009 NCAA Frozen Four. The Nipigon, Ontario native also has experience in the USHL with Sioux City and Sioux Falls.
