WCHA Releases Composite League Schedule for 2016-2017

After making some last-minute tweaks due to their new playoff format, the WCHA has officially announced their composite league schedule for the 2016-2017 season.

All teams in the league will play 28 conference games again, and the new playoff format puts greater importance on the regular season with conference positioning determining home ice in all three rounds of the playoffs.

Despite the last minute shifting, the league was able to maintain their tradition of each team playing their designated rival on the final weekend of the regular season.

In addition to conference play, the league also announced the non-conference opponents for each of the 10 teams.
