Michigan Tech freshman forward Brett Boeing has left Michigan Tech and returned to the Dubuque Fighting Saints of the USHL, where he played his junior hockey prior to enrolling at Michigan Tech.
Boeing was in and out of the line-up for the Huskies in the first half of the season, dressing in 11 games, scoring 1 goal and five assists, though four of those assists came in his first collegiate game against Ferris State in mid-October. After playing in Michigan Tech's first four games, Boeing only saw one game per weekend for the rest of the first half.
Boeing skated for the Fighting Saints in last Saturday's 6-4 Saints win over the NTDP U17 team. Boeing notched three assists in the victory.
