The WCHA has announced a two-game suspension for Alabama-Huntsville's Brennan Saulnier. Saulnier was assessed a game misconduct for a hit to the head at 14:29 of the first period of UAH's game against Ferris State last Saturday. After review, that infraction was deemed worthy of a suspension.
The two-game suspension likely owes to Saulnier being a repeat offender. Saulnier was suspended for one game earlier this season following an illegal hit to the head on October 30th.
Saulnier will miss Alabama-Huntsville's next two games, which are against Alaska-Anchorage on January 29th and 30th. Saulnier is the third-leading scorer for the Chargers this year with a 6-10-16 scoring line in 22 games.
