Bowling Green Extends Chris Bergeron's Contract

Bowling Green announced today that they have signed head coach Chris Bergeron to a five-year contract extension that will keep him behind the bench in Bowling Green through the 2022-2023 season.

Bergeron has been the head coach at Bowling Green for the past seasons and has improved his win total in each of the past four seasons. This past season, the Falcons went 23-11-5 for their first 20-win season since 1995-96, and missed out on the last at-large NCAA Tournament bid to eventual national champion Providence by .0001 percentage points in the RPI.

The Falcons show no signs of slowing down either. They return 13 of their top 15 scorers from last season as well as all three of their goalies and should be among the favorites in the WCHA next season.
