Dajon Mingo Leaves Bowling Green

Bowling Green senior forward/defenseman Dajon Mingo has officially left Bowling Green's program, according to BGSUHockey.com.

The departure doesn't come as a huge surprise in the wake of recent events. Mingo had been scratched for Bowling Green's past seven games, despite the Falcons being unable to dress six healthy defensemen the past two weeks.

Mingo's best season came as a freshman when he scored 8-14-22 in 41 games. He missed the second half of his sophomore season due to academic ineligibility before making a position switch to defense in the second half of collegiate career.

Mingo thanked Bowling Green fans via Twitter after the news became official. He is expected to pursue a career in minor league hockey:
