13 #NHL prospects. Three 1st rd picks. 1 returnee from 2018: O'Neill. 15 NCAA, 5 KHL, 2 SHL, 2 AHL, 1 DEL. pic.twitter.com/kbKY139kBx
In total, 15 current NCAA players and 10 former NCAA players will make up the US roster. That includes three players from Minnesota, two each from Michigan(who will also lose two players to Team Canada), St. Cloud State, Harvard, and Boston College, and one each from Minnesota State, Boston University, Minnesota Duluth, and North Dakota.
Who knows how well this team will do. This is relatively uncharted territory. But it should be a fun and exciting team to watch with a lot of excellent NCAA players on it, including a few that could have easily been on NHL rosters this season had they not opted for an additional year of college hockey.
