USA Hockey Announces Preliminary World Juniors Roster

On Tuesday afternoon, USA Hockey announced a preliminary roster of players that will compete for a spot on this year’s World Juniors team.

The roster of 28 players, will have to be cut down to 23 prior to the start of the tournament. They will compete in a pre-tournament training camp December 15-19 in Columbus, OH, then play exhibition games against Belarus on December 20 and Sweden on December 22, after which the final roster will be announced.

The World Juniors, held in Buffalo this year, will begin on December 26th.
