The US National Team Development Program officially announced the first eight commitments for next year's U17 team.
The group of players includes:
Joey Anderson-F-Hill-Murray(MN) HS(Minnesota-Duluth)
Trent Frederic-F-St. Louis Jr. Blues U16
Max Jones-F-Honeybaked U18
Patrick Khodorenko-F-Honeybaked U16
Nick Pastujov-F-Honeybaked U16
Chad Krys-D-New Jersey Rockets U19
Girffen Luce-D-Salisbury Prep(Michigan)
Luke Martin-D-St. Louis Jr. Blues U16(Michigan)
When the NTDP released the roster for their tryout camp, we said the NTDP would need to get nearly all of the top players in their age group to put together a strong team. These eight are a very good start.
It's likely also no coincidence that these names were released today, with Frederic, Jones, Pastujov, Luce, and Martin all eligible for this coming Saturday's OHL Draft.
