Quinnipiac and Yale will meet in a rematch of the 2013 NCAA Championship game at 7 p.m. on Saturday at HighPoint Solutions Arena in Hamden, Conn.

Quinnipiac and Union were the only two ECAC teams to win both games on the weekend while Dartmouth and Princeton were the only teams to go winless. With no further ado, here is this week's ECAC Power Rankings compiled by Jeff Cox.

1. Quinnipiac (8-1-0) Rand Pecknold's Bobcats haven't lost since opening night against Alaska-Anchorage. Their top line is putting pucks in the back of the opposition's net right and left. Connor Jones scored his 100 career point over the weekend, and his brother Kellen is not far behind. Scary thought for opposing coaches is that Tampa Bay Lightning prospect and 2013 NCAA East Regional MVP Matthew Peca hasn't really begun to heat up yet.

Up Next: Brown (Fri 11/8), Yale (Sat 11/9)

2. RPI (5-2-1) The Engineers had a rough week, blowing a 3-0 lead to Harvard at home and having to settle for a draw. A few nights later RPI lost to the Crimson in Cambridge, but Seth Appert's team bounced back by pounding Dartmouth, 7-1. RPI is still playing without its star goaltender and last season's ECAC Rookie of the Year Jason Kasdorf who is out due to injury. Ryan Haggerty and Brock Higgs are offensive catalysts that will continue to wreak havoc on the opposition.

Up Next: Cornell (Fri 11/8), Colgate (Sat 11/9)

3. Union (3-2-2) The Dutchmen were one of just two teams to be perfect on the opening weekend of league play in the ECAC. Rick Bennett's team walloped Dartmouth on Friday, but needed a rally to defeat Harvard the next night. Trailing 2-0, Union scored four consecutive goals for the victory. Goaltender Colin Stevens returned from injury, picking up the victory both nights. Senior forward Daniel Carr tallied two goals on the weekend - making him the all-time leader in goals scored in Union program history.

Up Next: Colgate (Fri 11/8), Cornell (Sat 11/9)

4. Clarkson (7-2-1) The Golden Knights finally saw their unbeaten streak come to an end at Yale, but not before a nice last minute victory over Brown the night before. Clarkson will have to get back to basics and concentrate on the defensive zone more this week against Dartmouth and Harvard.

Up Next: at Dartmouth (Fri 11/8), at Harvard (Sat 11/9)

5. Cornell (3-1-0) The Big Red's sweep of Nebraska-Omaha is looking more impressive after UNO swept Denver this past weekend. Cornell downed Princeton before succumbing to red-hot Quinnipiac on Saturday night. Edmonton Oilers prospect John McCarron is pacing the offense with a goal and six assists.

Up Next: at RPI (Fri 11/8), at Union (Sat 11/9)

6. Yale (2-1-1) Keith Allain's team had to settle for a tie with St. Lawrence on the night Yale raised its 2013 NCAA Championship banner. The next night the Bulldogs helped snap Clarkson's six game unbeaten streak. One of Yale's expected big weapons offensively, Kenny Agostino, has been held to just two assists so far.

Up Next: at Princeton (Fri 11/8), at Quinnipiac (Sat 11/9)

7. Harvard (2-1-1) Ted Donato has to be pleased with his team's start after a few years of underachieving. Some of the freshmen - particularly Sean Malone and Alex Kerfoot - look good. Raphael Girard has yet to give up a goal in two starts. He'll be tested Friday night when Greg Carey and St. Lawrence pay a visit to Bright Arena.

Up Next: St. Lawrence (Fri 11/8), Clarkson (Sat 11/9)

8. St. Lawrence (4-2-2) The Saints can certainly score, but the question all season will be if Greg Carvel's team can keep the puck out of the back of its own net. Greg Carey and his brother Matt continue to pace the offense. Senior goalie Matt Weninger is streaky, but can make the key save. Picking up two points on a trip that had the Saints facing Yale and Brown is certainly not disastrous.

Up Next: at Harvard (Fri 11/8), at Dartmouth (Sat 11/9)

9. Brown (2-1-1) After a terrific start to the season at the Liberty Hockey Invitational the friendly confines of Meehan Auditorium didn't do the Bears well. Brendan Whittet's team went 0-1-1 against Clarkson and St. Lawrence on the weekend. Brown's top offensive line - consisting of Matt Lorito, Mark Naciero and Nick Lappin - will score, but the depth and goaltending remain a concern for the Bears.

Up Next: at Quinnipiac (Fri 11/8), at Princeton (Sat 11/9)

10. Colgate (3-5-1) The Raiders were shellacked by Quinnipiac on Friday night, but bounced back for a 3-1 win over Princeton a night later. Don Vaughn's team has been outscored 32-20 on the season. A tough test awaits Colgate this weekend with a trip to the Capitol District to face two of the better teams in the ECAC, Union and RPI.

Up Next: at Union (Fri 11/8), at RPI (Sat 11/9)

11. Princeton (1-3-0) Scoring two goals per game while giving up four goals per game is no recipe for success. Andrew Calof, the team's offensive leader, has yet to find the back of the net, but he does have three assists. Things won't get much easier for Bob Prier's team this weekend.

Up Next: Yale (Fri 11/8), Brown (Sat 11/9)

12. Dartmouth (0-4-0) Simply put, last weekend was not fun for the Big Green. Bob Gaudet's team got outscored 14-3 on the weekend. Dartmouth is the only league team to be winless. The Big Green are young and the team could always improve, but right now things are looking down right abysmal in Hanover.

Up Next: Clarkson (Fri 11/8), St. Lawrence (Sat 11/9)

Quinnipiac's Connor Jones and Union's Daniel Carr both hit individual milestones over the weekend.

The first week of conference action in the ECAC is in the books with Quinnipiac and Union being the only teams to go perfect. Here are SBNation's Three Stars of the Week in ECAC Hockey.

#1 Star

Connor Jones - The Quinnipiac senior forward tallied three goals and an assist on the weekend. The Montrose, BC native had the game-winning scores in each game for the Bobcats. He centers the top line with his brother Kellen on the right and freshman Sam Anas on the left. His game-winning goal in Friday's victory over Colgate also just happened to be his 100 point as a Bobcat. Brother Kellen is just three points away from joining him in the century club.

#2 Star

Daniel Carr - The senior forward from Sherwood Park, Alberta broke Union's all-time goal scoring mark with two tallies on the weekend. His goal on Saturday against Harvard was the difference as the Dutchmen snapped Harvard's three-game unbeaten streak. Carr now has 60 goals and 56 assists for his career.

#3 Star

Greg Carey - This is beginning to sound like a broken record, but Carey potted two goals and added three helpers as Saint Lawrence skated to a pair of ties against Yale and Brown. The reigning Hobey Baker Award finalist isn't missing a beat even without last year's linemate Kyle Flanagan.

Notes and miscellaneous milestones: Clarkson freshman A.J. Fossen recorded his first collegiate goal in Friday's 4-3 win over Brown, and it just happened to be the game-winner with 1:53 to play in regulation... Harvard goaltender Raphael Girard shut out RPI, 2-0, on Friday night. Crimson coach Ted Donato has used a rotation between the pipes, but Girard has two shutouts in as many starts...RPI senior forward Brock Higgs had a big week for the Engineers, scoring four goals and an assist, including his hat trick in the Engineers' 7-1 win over Dartmouth.

Union senior Daniel Carr became the school's all-time leader in goals scored with his 60 career goal.

It should come as no surprise that Union and Quinnipiac were the only two ECAC teams to win both league games on the weekend. The league has been so tight for so many years, and, the Dutchmen and Bobcats are two of the last three teams to make the Frozen Four.

Quinnipiac Shuts Out Cornell at Lynah

Quinnipiac continues to be paced by its top line. Connor Jones added a goal and his brother, Kellen, had two helpers. Tampa Bay Lightning prospect and 2013 NCAA East Regional MVP Matthew Peca scored his first goal of the season. Travis St. Denis also tallied a goal as the Bobcats shut out Cornell, 3-0, in Ithaca. Quinnipiac has now won eight straight games.

Union Scores Four Straight to Overcome 2-0 Deficit

Daniel Carr scored the game-winning goal with 5:37 to play in the second period. Daniel Ciampini scored two goals including a shorthanded goal in the first four minutes of the second period after the Dutchmen had fallen behind Harvard 2-0. Matt Hatch added an empty netter to give Union the 4-2 victory.

Brown Battles Back To Tie St. Lawrence

St. Lawrence superstar Greg Carey had a goal and two assists and his brother Matt had a goal and a helper as St. Lawrence raced out to a 3-2 lead over Brown after one period. Defenseman Dennis Robertson's goal with 1:22 to play in the second period knotted the score at three.

Yale Solves Clarkson

Anthony Day scored two goals and three other Bulldogs pitched in a goal each as Yale downed Clarkson, 6-3, at Ingalls Rink on Saturday night. Defenseman Kevin Tansey scored a pair of goals for the Golden Knights in the losing effort. Clarkson freshman goaltender Steve Perry lost his first collegiate game after starting his career 3-0-1. The loss snapped the six game unbeaten streak for Casey Jones' squad.

Rough Weekend for Dartmouth as RPI Thrashes Big Green

It was a rough two games for RPI as it blew a 3-0 lead and had to settle for a tie with Harvard on Tuesday before being shut out by the Crimson last night. Seth Appert's team took out its frustration on Bob Gaudet's Big Green tonight. Brock Higgs registered a hat trick and Ryan Haggerty and Matt Neal each had a goal and two assists to pace the RPI offense. It was the second consecutive lopsided loss for Dartmouth. The Big Green lost, 7-2, on Friday night to Union.

Colgate Outlasts Princeton

Neither team could find the back of the net for the first 40 minutes of the game, but Colgate broke out in a big way scoring three third period goals to defeat Princeton, 3-1. Darcy Murphy, Spiro Goulakos and Tylor Spink scored for the Raiders. Charlie Finn made 27 saves for the victory. The triumph for Colgate snapped a four game losing streak. Princeton has now lost three straight following a season-opening win over Dartmouth.

Daniel Carr broke Union's all-time goals record, and Union rallied to win a big ECAC game on the road at Harvard.

Cambridge, Mass. - It looked as if Union College was in for a long night. After a lackluster first period, the Dutchmen trailed 2-0 on the road against Harvard.

Then they flipped the switch.

Union looked like an entirely different team in the final two periods, and stormed back to defeat the Crimson 4-2 in an ECAC matchup at Bright Arena.

"I think we were still at the Boston Red Sox parade, still celebrating," said Union head coach Rick Bennett of his team's slow start. "But that's a very good team over there.

"The first period, they just had the legs; we were just caught watching."

Through the first 20 minutes, it was all Crimson. Harvard looked very crisp, transitioning out of its own zone strongly, and went into the intermission ahead on the strength of goals from Greg Gozza and Ryan McGregor.

"The first period I thought was pretty even," said Harvard head coach Ted Donato. "We had a 2-0 advantage, I thought we made some plays, but we talked about after the first period we were going to have to play a lot better because they're a veteran team, and obviously a very good hockey club."

It didn't take long for Union to show its experience and swing the momentum coming out of the intermission. Just 23 seconds into the frame, Daniel Ciampini beat Steve Michalek to the stick-side on a wrap-around.

"We just kind of came in and realized we just had to regroup and play Union hockey," said Daniel Carr, who scored the game-winner.

Ciampini would find the back of the net again to tie the score. With the Dutchmen shorthanded, Michalek denied Sam Coatta on a backhand try, but Ciapmini would follow up the play and slam home the rebound to tie the score.

"I thought we had some nice waves as far as momentum swings," Bennett said. "For the most part, we'll see how many were actually chances, and there's a big difference.

"It really didn't feel like a game that we dominated by any means."

Union would grab its first lead of the night on the power play, scoring its third and final goal of the second period. After some nice puck movement in the zone, Carr let loose a one-timer that screamed under the crossbar and in.

On the play, Carr became the all-time leading scorer for the Union hockey program since it made the change to Division 1 in 1991.

"Obviously it's an honor," said Carr, who's parents were in attendance having made the trip down from Alberta, Canada. "I kind of forgot about [the record] until the equipment manager threw me the puck in the locker room after."

The middle frame was the difference, as Union outshot the Crimson 22-4, and jumped ahead. While the third was played more evenly, neither team scored, until a Matt Hatch empty-net goal capped the game with under a minute to go.

"For the second period, we got dominated pretty much all the way across the board," Donato said. "We gave up a shorthanded goal and a power play goal in the period, and the special teams certainly came back to bite us."

While it's still early, the game result did move Union ahead of Harvard in the ECAC standings. With a short league schedule, and points hard to come by, both teams acknowledged how important every conference matchup is.

"Especially for us, it's a pretty short season so every game is a battle," said Michalek, who recorded 41 saves in a stellar effort in net. "It was a pretty emotional game, and we have to stay more level-headed and play our game the whole 60 minutes."

Yale recovered from a 3-1 deficit to force a 3-3 draw with St. Lawrence on the night the school raised its 2013 NCAA Championship banner.

Clarkson and Quinnipiac continued their stellar early season play on the first full night of ECAC league action. Harvard and RPI matched up on Tuesday, but Friday was the first night of the season with six league games.

Late Heroics Lead Clarkson Past Brown

Clarkson, unbeaten in its last six outings, scored the game-winning goal with under two minutes to play in the third period to defeat Brown, 4-3. A pair of freshmen connected to break the tie just over a minute after Brown had knotted the score. A.J. Fossen buried the game-winner on a feed from fellow rookie Troy Josephs.

Allan McPherson scored his fourth goal of the season for the Golden Knights. Sophomore goaltender Greg Lewis made 30 saves on 33 shots faced for his fourth win of the season. Brown's top line connected for two goals -- scored by Matt Lorito and Nick Lappin -- to continue their solid play.

Clarkson, now 7-1-1, will face Yale Saturday night while Brown will host St. Lawrence.

Yale Rallies to Tie St. Lawrence on Banner Night

Greg Carey scored a goal and an assist to lift St. Lawrence to a 3-1 lead, but Yale battled back to force the 3-3 draw. Boston Bruins draft pick Rob O'Gara's tally with one second left in the second period stood up as the game-tying goal. Saints goaltender Matt Weninger made 34 saves while Yale freshman Alex Lyon stopped 29 shots.

Yale raised its 2013 NCAA Championship banner prior to the start of the game.

Third Period Explosion Lifts Quinnipiac Past Colgate

Quinnipiac's top line -- Sam Anas, Kellen Jones and Connor Jones -- continued to pace to the Bobcats offensively. Connor Jones had a pair of goals and an assist, Anas had a goal and two assists, and Kellen Jones had a goal and a helper as the Bobcats rolled past Colgate, 7-2.

Colgate led 1-0 after 20 minutes, but the Bobcats scored twice in the second period to hold a 2-1 lead heading to the final period. Rand Pecknold's team scored five times in the third to blow the game open. Quinnipiac has won seven consecutive games after falling to Alaska-Anchorage in the season opener. QU will play Cornell Saturday night while Colgate will play host to Princeton.

Cornell Wins Conference, Home Opener

Cornell took a 4-0 lead after two periods and held on for a 4-2 victory over Princeton in the team's home opener at Lynah Rink in Ithaca. The Big Red scored four goals on just 13 shots in the first two periods. Mike Schafer's team was paced by its first line. John McCarron scored a goal and two assists, and Joel Lowry and Christian Hilbrich had a goal and an assist each. Andy Iles had 26 saves on 28 shots for his third victory of the season.

Union Routs Dartmouth

Union dominated the Big Green in every facet of the game in front of 2,347 at Thompson Arena in Hanover en route to a 7-2 victory. Sam Coatta scored two goals and five other players scored one goal each for the Dutchmen. Daniel Carr had a goal and an assist. The senior's second period tally was his 59th career goal, tying him with Mario Valeri-Trabuco for most all-time in program history.

Colin Stevens made 15 saves in his first start back after an injury kept him out of the line-up since the first period of the team's season opener against Bowling Green. The Dutchmen will take on Harvard Saturday in Cambridge.

Girard, Harvard Shut Out RPI

Jimmy Vesey and Kyle Criscuolo scored for the Crimson who took three of four points from RPI in their season series. Raphael Girard made 28 saves in the 2-0 victory for his second shutout in two starts for the season.

The Engineers took a 3-0 lead over Harvard in the team's contest on Tuesday night in Troy. After that strong start Seth Appert's team has been held scoreless in the team's last five periods plus the Tuesday night overtime. The Engineers will look to get back on track Saturday night at Dartmouth.

Yale will raise its first NCAA Championship banner to the Ingalls Rink rafters on Friday night.

New Haven, Conn. - Yale University will honor its 2012-2013 NCAA Championship team at the Ingalls Rink tonight with a banner raising ceremony. In addition to having to keep emotions in check on such a night, the Bulldogs will also have to worry about shutting down Greg Carey and the potent St. Lawrence offense.

Yale comes into this weekend's home games against St. Lawrence and Clarkson with a record of 1-1 after a split decision at the Liberty Hockey Invitational in Newark, NJ last weekend. The Bulldogs lost, 4-1, to Brown in the opening game before bouncing back against Princeton for a 3-2 victory.

Star senior forward Kenny Agostino was held scoreless in the two games at the Prudential Center. Junior Nicholas Weberg was the only Bulldogs player to have a good weekend offensively. The Faribault, Minn. native had two goals in the triumph over Princeton.

A pair of freshmen each got a start in goal for Keith Allain's squad. Rookie Patrick Spano started against Princeton, and made 22 stops on 24 shots for the win. Alex Lyon received the loss the night before giving up three goals on 30 shots faced.

Yale's defense and goaltending will have to contend with one of the most dynamic offensive threats in the country on Friday night. St. Lawrence senior Greg Carey has 68 goals and 68 assists on his career and already has eight points this season. Redshirt freshman Matt Carey, his younger brother, has four goals and three assists.

Four Saints players have three or more goals on the season through six games. One small consolation for Yale is its recent dominance over St. Lawrence. Greg Carvel's Saints are winless in their last four outings against the Bulldogs.

If Friday night isn't tough enough Yale will take on a red-hot Clarkson team on Saturday night. The Golden Knights are 6-1-1 and unbeaten in their last five.

Quinnipiac is 6-0 after dropping an opening-night decision at Alaska-Anchorage. The Bobcats travel to Colgate and Cornell this weekend.

The number of people who had Clarkson starting the season 6-1-1 are probably few and far between except for maybe the men in the Golden Knights' dressing room. However, that is the record of the team both the coaches and media picked to finish last in the ECAC.

Outside of a weekend sweep on home ice against Colorado College this past weekend; Clarkson's opponents haven't exactly been the cream of the crop. That being said, it's an impressive start for a team that won just nine games all of last season.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why Clarkson has improved thus far in the season. Last season Clarkson goaltenders averaged a .893 save percentage. This year sophomore Greg Lewis and freshman Steve Perry have combined for a .939 save percentage.

Perry, from Ligonier, Pa., has a 1.20 goals against average and a .948 save percentage in four starts, including two shutouts. Lewis, who had a .898 save percentage last year as a rookie, has drastically improved his numbers.

Senior forwards Ben Sexton and Allan McPherson and junior forward Joe Zarbo have done their part offensively. Zarbo's heroics with nine seconds remaining in overtime broke a 0-0 tie with Colorado College last Saturday night.

For those pessimists saying Casey Jones' team has yet to be challenged, this weekend will change that. The Golden Knights have to play a Brown team coming off two wins at the Liberty Hockey Invitational on Friday night before traveling down to face defending national champion Yale on Saturday.

Speaking of Brown, Brendan Whittet's team won last weekend's showcase tournament at the Prudential Center in Newark by dispatching of Yale and Dartmouth. Tournament MVP Mark Naciero potted three goals and added four helpers. Linemates Matt Lorito and Nick Lappin accounted for three more goals and five assists.

Saturday's matchup at Meehan Auditorium between Brown and St. Lawrence will showcase two of the best lines in the ECAC if Saints coach Greg Carvel keeps the Carey brothers together on a line. Greg Carey, a returning Hobey Baker Award finalist, and younger brother Matt, a redshirt freshman, have combined for six goals and nine assists through six games.

Quinnipiac, winners of six straight after an opening-night loss at Alaska-Anchorage travels to face Colgate and Cornell this weekend. The Bobcats have gotten production far and wide - including eight players with two or more goals. Freshman Sam Anas is off to a terrific rookie campaign with six goals in his first seven games.

Rand Pecknold's team will face a Cornell team hot off a sweep at Nebraska-Omaha. The Big Red only put 13 shots on net in Saturday's contest, but scored on four of them for the 4-3 victory.

RPI and Harvard will battle again Friday night in Cambridge to wrap up their season series. The two teams met Tuesday night at the Houston Field House in Troy. The Engineers jumped out to a 3-0 lead, but couldn't hold on and had to settle for a draw.

Harvard's freshmen forwards, particularly Sean Malone and Alexander Kerfoot, looked poised beyond their years with the puck. Malone, a Buffalo Sabres draft pick, made a terrific play on a two-on-one. He patiently held the puck until he had drawn RPI goaltender Scott Diebold over to him before feeding Greg Gozzo for an easy goal into a wide open net.
