St. Cloud State sophomore defenseman Jimmy Schuldt, a potential NHL free agent target, will return to St. Cloud for his junior season according to Ryan Kennedy of The Hockey News:
Potential college free agent Jimmy Schuldt will return to St. Cloud State for next season. NHL teams were ready to sign him

Schuldt emerged as a potential NHL free agent two years ago as a freshman, when his booming shot from the point was a valuable piece on a roaring St. Cloud State power play. He put up a 10-16-26 stat line as a rookie in 41 games.
As a sophomore, Schuldt played a bigger role for St. Cloud State, but his numbers took a hit—8-11-19 in 36 games—while playing on a less prolific scoring team.
Schuldt served as captain of his team as a sophomore, and will likely lead his team again as a junior. He still has some room to improve with his skating and play on the defensive end, but his offensive instincts and booming shot make him a valuable offensive weapon, and should make him a top NHL free agent target next season.
