After 11 years of voting, squabbling, stalling and repeating, North Dakota's transformation from the Fighting Sioux to the Fighting Hawks is finally complete as the school announced their new logo today.

Despite the logo change, both the men's and women's hockey teams will wear the same jerseys they wore last year for this upcoming season.
Whatever opinions on the new logo may be--and if history is any indication, they're bound to be plentiful and negative from UND fans--it's nice that University has finally ended this once and for all and the process of moving on can begin.
