Denver and Colorado College to Play Outdoors at Coors Field

Denver and Colorado College announced that they will play an outdoor hockey game next season at Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies.

The game will take place Saturday February 20th and is being called "Battle on Blake". The game will take place a week before the Detroit Red Wings and Colorado Avalanche are scheduled to play at Coors Field as part of the NHL's Stadium Series games.

This will be the first outdoor games for both Denver and Colorado College.
