The University of Denver announced today that assistant coach Joe Clark, and volunteer assistant Brett Blatchford have both resigned from their positions for personal reasons.
In the school's press release, head coach Jim Montgomery said:
"Joe and Brett both did a great job for us this past season and we wish them all the best in their future endeavors. Joe has family obligations that necessitate his resignation and we completely respect his decision to move on while Brett has decided to focus on his real estate career, which we also respect. We thank both of them for their contribution to DU Hockey and we will begin the search for their replacements immediately."
Clark and Blatchford both joined the DU coaching staff last summer. A search for their replacements is expected to begin immediately.
