St. Cloud State announced today that they have agreed to a six-year contract extension for head hockey coach Bob Motzko that will keep him under contract with the Huskies through the end of the 2020-2021 season.
Motzko recently completed his tenth season behind the bench for the Huskies. He's amassed a career record of 204-155-41 for the Huskies. Motzko led the Huskies to back-to-back regular season titles in the WCHA and NCHC, the first two league titles in the school's Division I history. He also led the Huskies to their first Frozen Four appearance in 2013. Motzko holds the only five NCAA Tournament victories in school history, including four over the past three seasons.
