The NCHC announced a one-game suspension for Minnesota Duluth senior captain Adam Krause for an illegal knee-to-knee hit in the third period of last Saturday's game against Western Michigan. Krause was assessed a five-minute major and game misconduct on the play.
Krause has scored 7-10-17 in 28 games for the Bulldogs this season. He will be forced to miss Minnesota Duluth's first playoff game at Denver next Friday, then be eligible to return for Saturday's game.
