Brett Boehm Leaves Minnesota Duluth to Return to Juniors

Matt Christians

According to a report by Saskatchewan Junior hockey league broadcaster Clark Stork, Minnesota Duluth freshman forward Brett Boehm has left Minnesota Duluth and will return to the Flin Flon Bombers, where he played parts of three seasons prior to enrolling at UMD this fall.

Boehm was played in five games for Minnesota Duluth, with his last coming November 7th against St. Cloud State, and did not register a point in any of his games. Boehm showed good speed, but at just 175 lbs., he struggled to handle the increased physicality of the college hockey game.
