St. Cloud State junior defenseman Andrew Prochno suffered a lower body injury in the first period of last Saturday's game against Miami and on Tuesday, St. Cloud head coach Bob Motzko told Mick Hatten of the St. Cloud times that Prochno will be out "a couple of weeks" with that injury:

Prochno has been a top pairing defenseman for the Huskies all season, and has been a key component of both St. Cloud's top power play and penalty kill unit. It's a huge loss for St. Cloud right before one of their most important series of the season against North Dakota with first place in the NCHC on the line.
St. Cloud has been rotating their bottom pairing defensemen in recent weeks with freshmen Niklas Nevalainen and Ben Storm and junior Jarrod Rabey all seeing playing time so they should be comfortable plugging any of them into the lineup to replace Prochno, but it will be difficult to fill the amount of ice time Prochno logs, and replace his ability as a puck mover.
