North Dakota was dealt a blow on the injury front Saturday morning.
Senior forward Mark MacMillan underwent wrist surgery in Grand Forks and will be out indefinitely, University of North Dakota head coach Dave Hakstol announced.
MacMillan, UND's leading scorer this season with five goals in five games, was injured during the second period of Friday's 6-1 win at home over Providence. The 2010 Montreal Canadiens draft pick received a laceration on his left wrist when his arm came into contact with a skate blade.
