Miami's Jimmy Mullin Out for Season with Injury

Matt Christians

Miami senior forward Jimmy Mullin, a draft pick of the Tamp Bay Lightning, will sit out his this season as he recovers from an injury sustained midway through last season, according to Miami's game notes for this week. Mullin is expected to redshirt this year and play his senior season at Miami next year.

Mullin is a versatile forward that played on every line from first to fourth for the RedHawks at various points in the first half of last season before missing the second half with an undisclosed injury that will now keep him out for all of this year. Mullin scored a goal and six assists in 19 games last season, bringing his three-year career totals to 18-29-47 in 94 games played.
