Madison Capitols Name Suter Head Coach/GM

The Madison Capitols have named Madison native and University of Wisconsin Stevens Point alum Garrett Suter as the organization's new head coach and general manager.

A 2011 graduate of UW-Stevens Point, Suter had a brief minor pro career before jumping into coaching. He was the head coach of the Madison Capitols 18U team in the NAPHL 18U Divison.

Suter replaces Troy Ward, who resigned after just one year behind the bench of the USHL franchise.  Suter is the brother of Minnesota Wild defenseman Ryan Suter and the son of 1980 U.S. Olympic legend Bob Suter.
