Curtis Hall Signs USHL Tender with Youngstown

Cleveland Barons U16 forward Curtis Hall has signed a USHL tender with the Youngstown Phantoms for next season.

Hall had a 10-24-34 scoring line in 32 games with the Barons this year. He was the second-leading scorer on the Phantoms, and the second-highest scoring '00 birthdate in the T1EHL behind Colorado's Nolan Foote. We rated Hall as the top 'B' prospect, right on the cusp of the 'A'-level at the recent T1EHL playoffs:

Curtis Hall-F-Cleveland Barons-Hall is a speedy forward that moves the puck effectively and plays with a bit of edge to his game.

Signing a USHL tender guarantees that Hall will be on the Youngstown roster next season, and will dress in at least 55% of their games. Youngstown forfeits their first selection in this spring's USHL Futures Draft in exchange for signing Hall early.

Hall, who is currently uncommitted to an NCAA school, is the second player to sign a USHL tender for next season, joining Denver commit Mathias Emilio Peterssen, who signed with Omaha.
