The Sioux Falls Stampede capped off their inaugural season at the brand new Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in perfect style. A crowd of 8178--the second-highest ever for a USHL playoff--watched the hometown Stampede defeat the Muskegon Lumberjacks 4-2 to clinch a 3-0 series victory and win the Clark Cup as USHL playoff champions.

Northern Michigan commit Troy Loggins tallied a goal and an assist to help stake Sioux Falls to a 2-0 second period lead, and the Stampede never trailed after that point. Muskegon would push back with a pair of third period goals to cut the lead to 3-2, but Logan O'Connor's empty-net goal sealed the championship.

Loggins was named the league's Playoff MVP after scoring 10 goals and six assists in 12 postseason games. His 10 goals are the most by a player in the playoffs in the league's Tier history, dating back to 2002.

19 of the 21 players Sioux Falls dressed tonight are committed to Division I college programs: Joey Raats(Arizona State), Parker Tuomie(Minnesota State), Matt Nuttle(Cornell), Dakota Joshua(Ohio State), Troy Loggins(Northern Michigan), Dillon Eichstadt(Bemidji State), Mikey Eyssimont(St. Cloud State), Chris Pohlkamp(Bowling Green), Cooper Marody(Michigan), Clint Lewis(Minnesota State), Chaz Switzer(Miami), Collin Peters(Northern Michigan), Daniel Warpecha(Dartmouth), Logan O'Connor(Denver), J.M. Piotrowski(Yale), Kieffer Bellows(Boston University), Ryan Schwalbe(Minnesota State), Arthur Brey(St. Lawrence), Stefanos Lekkas(Vermont).
