Bismarck Bobcats Visit Local Children's Hospital

Bismarck Bobcats

Over the summer, Bismarck Bobcats(NAHL) captain Cullen Willox and Bobcats team owner Thom Brigl had the opportunity visit 4-year-old Bobcats fans Landon LaVallie while LaVallie was receiving treatments for liver cancer at the University of Minnesota Children's Hospital.

Since then, LaVallie has made strides in his recovery and has been transferred to the Sanford Clinic in Bismarck. The Bobcats had last Friday off, so the entire Bismarck team visited LaVallie in his hospital room, as well as other children in the hospital, and distributed gifts, including signed pucks and foam fingers.

"It was such a treat for Landon to meet everyone," noted Michelle LaVallie, Landon’s mother in a press release. "He had such a big smile on his face."

"It really just feels good that we can make this difference in our community and help out kids who obviously aren't as fortunate as some others," added Willox.
