USHL: Aidan Muir Scores A Beauty

Aidan Muir scored a fantastic goal in USHL action tonight.

Indiana Ice forward Aidan Muir is committed to play college hockey at Western Michigan, and last summer, was a fourth round draft pick of the Edmonton Oilers in the NHL Draft.

Muir drew the attention of the Brocons and was drafted by Edmonton because of his rare combination of size and physicality, standing at 6'4", as well as his tremendous compete level and good hands around the net. He showed off a little bit of all those traits tonight, scoring the third goal in a 4-0 win for the Ice over the Youngstown Phantoms by outracing a Phantoms defender, muscling him off the puck, then flipping a backhand shot over the shoulder of the Youngstown goalie. Words can't do a goal like that justice, so watch the video.
