Maine Associate Head Coach Jay Leach Retiring

Associate head coach Jay Leach will not return to the Maine bench for the 2017-18 season after serving on Red Gendron’s staff the past four seasons.

Leach, a Lexington, Mass. native, was an assistant coach at Merrimack and Maine in the 1980s and worked as an NHL assistant for over 20 years between stints at the collegiate level.

Gendron and fellow associate head coach Ben Guite will look to round out the full-time staff with a new addition.
