Former Northeastern forward Jason Cotton is transferring to Sacred Heart. The Parker, Texas native played one semester for the Huskies before heading to the USHL to play for the Youngstown Phantoms.
In eight games with Northeastern, he was held scoreless. He did, however, have a hat trick in the team's exhibition game in October. The younger brother of prized BC recruit David Cotton, he scored six goals and five assists in 28 games for the Phantoms.
Cotton will have to sit out the first semester before becoming eligible to begin playing for CJ Marattolo's Pioneers.
