Anaheim Ducks 2015 NHL Draft pick Steven Ruggiero has left the Providence College hockey program after playing in just six games during the first half of the season.
The news was first reported by the Providence Journal’s Mark Divver. Ruggiero, a ‘97 defenseman, has junior eligibility left. He played for the U.S. NTDP before enrolling at Providence.
