Foget, Spaxman Leave Merrimack Hockey

Merrimack College kicks off the second half of its schedule Wednesday in the Florida College Classic against Colorado College. The Warriors will do so without forward Matt Foget and defenseman Ethan Spaxman.

Both players have left the program, as first reported by Mike McMahon of College Hockey News. Foget and Spaxman have both been removed the official roster on the Merrimack Athletic Department website. McMahon reported that the two players informed Mark Dennehy of their decision by email.

Foget and Spaxman were both sophomores who had each scored a goal and three assists this season. Spaxman was ranked by NHL Central Scouting last season, but went undrafted.
