CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Good evening and welcome inside Conte Forum on the campus of Boston College where the No. 10 Eagles play their first home contest of the season, hosting Colorado College on this Friday night at 7 p.m.
The Eagles began the season with four consecutive games away from Chestnut Hill and stand 2-2-0 after splitting their most recent series at Wisconsin, while the Tigers play their fifth straight game against a Hockey East foe tonight.
BC sophomore Christopher Brown scored two goals in the second period of last Sunday’s 8-5 win over the Badgers, finishing his first hat trick and multi-goal game of his career. Freshman David Cotton scored twice and added an assist.
Freshman Joe Woll made 53 saves in the weekend split at Wisconsin and has posted a .914 save percentage over his first four games. Tonight, though, Ryan Edquist is making his BC debut in net.
CC opened the season with a split at UMass two weeks ago before suffering a home sweep at the hands of UMass Lowell, losing by 8-5 and 4-0 scores.
The Tigers scored 12 goals in their first three games, a mark they did not reach until nine games into last season. Five CC players are tied for the team lead with three points thus far, including freshman Branden Makara who has scored two goals.
