UMass Hockey Players Arrested

Matt Dewkett

Four UMass hockey players were arrested over the weekend for violating the town's noise ordinance and disorderly conduct, according to a published report on MassLive.

Five police officers responded to a report of loud noise in a residential neighborhood. Senior forward Shane Walsh and senior defenseman Ben Gallacher were arrested for violating the town's noise ordinance. Former UMass forward Evan Stack was also arrested on the same charge.

Gallacher, a Florida Panthers prospect, was also found to have a counterfeit $100 bill on his person. It was confiscated for destruction, according to the police report.

Sophomore goaltender Henry Dill was arrested for disorderly conduct for allegedly punching a police cruiser.
