Ducks prospect Roy returning to Northeastern

Matt Dewkett

Anaheim Ducks prospect Kevin Roy announced via his twitter that he would be returning to school for his senior season. The Huskies' leading scorer had 19 goals and 25 assists this past season as a junior. A native of Lac-Beauport, Quebec, Roy played prep school hockey at Deerfield and junior hockey with Lincoln in the USHL before matriculating to Northeastern.

Roy, a fourth round selection in the 2012 NHL Draft, is undersized, but does a terrific job creating time and space for himself and his teammates.
