BOSTON -- Before Friday night's game with Northeastern, friends and fans of Boston University hockey gathered at Agganis Arena to reveal a statue of former Terrier coach Jack Parker. Tens of donors contributed to fundraising for the statue, which was unveiled by Parker's three grandchildren.

Parker, a Somerville, Mass. native, coached the BU program from 1973 until 2013 and was followed by Terrier alum David Quinn who is in the midst of his second season. His 24 NCAA Tournament appearances are the most of any Division 1 head coach, while his 897 career wins at BU are more than any coach at one school.
