Providence's Gilmour to miss rest of regular season with injury

Providence College hockey coach Nate Leaman announced that junior defenseman John Gilmour will miss the rest of the regular season with a broken finger. The Calgary Flames prospect suffered the injury in the Friars' 3-2 loss at Boston College on Friday night.

Gilmour played in his 100th career game on Friday against the Eagles. He has three goals and six assists in 23 games this season for the Friars who head into this Wednesday's game at UConn in fourth place in the Hockey East standings.
