BU's McAvoy Suspended by Hockey East

Hockey East has suspended Boston University freshman defenseman Charlie McAvoy for one game, according to a press release from the league.

The release states he was suspended due to "incidents" in Friday's 1-1 tie at Providence College. McAvoy will be banned for Saturday's 4 p.m. game against the Friars at Agganis Arena. He'll be eligible to return for next Friday's game against Michigan.
