Goaltender Sean Maguire is not enrolled at Boston University for the 2014-15 fall semester, according to a source with knowledge of the hockey program. The Powell River, British Columbia native was a fourth round selection of the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2012 NHL Draft.
It was announced earlier this summer that he would be taking a medical leave for the upcoming hockey season, but it was not clear whether he would stay in school. This brings up questions, especially with the addition of goaltender Connor LaCouvee to the roster, of the possibility that Maguire will not come back.
