WORCESTER, MASS. -- Boston College junior forward Johnny Gaudreau was named the Most Outstanding Player of the 2014 NCAA Northeast Regional at the DCU Center. The Eagles advanced to the 2014 NCAA Frozen Four with a 4-3 victory over UMass Lowell in the regional final.
The Carneys Point, NJ native had a hand in all six goals the Eagles scored in the semifinal victory over Denver University yesterday. The Calgary Flames had three goals and three assists in the game on Saturday. Gaudreau had a goal and an assist in Sunday's regional final, factoring in both of the first two BC goals.
