UMass-Lowell Tops Hockey East Writers and Broadcasters Association Preseason Poll

League newcomer Notre Dame was picked third by the Hockey East Writers and Broadcasters Association in the Preseason Poll.

Today is Hockey East Media Day at the TD Garden in Boston, Mass. The Hockey East Writers and Broadcasters Association has released its Preseason Media Poll. The Hockey East Preseason Coaches Poll will be released later in the day at the TD Garden.

Defending Hockey East Regular Season and Tournament Champions UMass-Lowell was picked to repeat by the league's media. Perennial league power Boston College placed second while league newcomer Notre Dame was picked to finish third.

The league's media also voted on a Preseason All-Hockey East First Team.
