BOSTON -- After two periods, the No. 19 Boston University Terriers maintained a 1-0 lead over the host Northeastern Huskies at Agganis Arena. The middle stanza was scoreless as BU freshman Danny O'Regan's 14th goal of the season 7:01 into the first period remains the only scoring in the contest.
After an 11-2 advantage in shots on goal in the first period, the Terriers allowed ten of the 19 combined chances in the middle stanza.
The Huskies had their best chance of the game in the first six minutes of the stanza as sophomore Josh Manson fired a shot on net that bounced off the back of BU freshman Sean Maguire and along the goal line.
The amount of total chances in front of Maguire, a Powell River, British Columbia native, nearly tripled in the stanza as he faced 23 total chances and has amassed 12 saves through the first 40 minutes.
