Durham, NH -- University of New Hampshire women's hockey coach Brian McCloskey has been fired for inappropriate contact with a player on the bench during the team's 3-2 loss at home against Ohio State on November 30. The Dartmouth alum had a terrific record guiding the women's program over 11 seasons. McCloskey had a 252-113-40 record as coach of the Wildcats. He had previously been an assistant to Dick Umile on the men's side. Assistants Jamie Wood and Stephanie Jones will run the team until a permanent replacement is found.
