Super 8 semifinal games moved to Thursday at Tsongas Center

Winter weather continues to have a negative impact on the scheduling of hockey games this season.

LOWELL -- The Super 8 semifinal games originally scheduled for Wednesday night have been pushed back to Thursday due to the impending winter weather scheduled to hit the region on Wednesday.

No. 2 Malden Catholic, the three-time defending champion, will take on No. 3 Springfield Cathedral at 6 p.m., followed by No. 1 BC High and No. 4 Austin Prep squaring off in the nightcap. Both games will still be played at the Tsongas Center on the campus of UMass Lowell.
