Union College has promoted Joe Dumais to Associate Head Coach of its men's hockey program. The Auburn, Maine native will begin his fifth season behind the bench of the Dutchmen in October.

Dumais, a 2006 graduate of Quinnipiac University, is known as one of the most tireless recruiters in college hockey. He helped recruit several members of the 2014 NCAA Championship squad. Dumais came to Union in 2011 after being an assistant to Bruce Marshall at UConn for three seasons.

Dumais' promotion comes just weeks after he reportedly turned down an offer to become the head coach of Division III University of New England. Dumais also interviewed for the vacant head coaching position at Princeton University last offseason.
