Chase Perry Commits to RPI

Matt Christians

Wenatchee Wild(BCHL) '96 goalie and former Colorado College goalie Chase Perry has committed to RPI.

Perry went to Colorado College last season where he was the youngest goalie in college hockey. In ten starts, he posted a 1-8-1 record with a 3.97 GAA and .876 save percentage, before deciding to return to junior hockey, though looking at Colorado College's continued struggles since,it seems fairly safe to say the poor numbers weren't entirely his fault.

Perry was a fifth round NHL Draft choice of the Detroit Red Wings in 2014. So far this season in Wenatchee, Perry has a 2.47 GAA and .899 save percentage in the offense-friendly BCHL. He will have three years of eligibility remaining when he joins the Engineers next season.
