Rensselaer lost its seventh straight hockey game on Friday night, a 3-2 setback to Miami, but that wasn't the only bad news to come out of Troy. Head coach Seth Appert announced after the game that he had suspended all four captains indefinitely for a violation of team rules.

RPI was without captain Curtis Leonard and alternate captains Luke Curadi, Matt Neal and Mark McGowan. All four played in the Engineers' 6-2 loss at Harvard on Tuesday night.
