Who's Hot in ECAC Hockey?
Preseason favorite Colgate was somewhat pushed to the back burner when discussing league teams after two and three game losing streaks earlier in the season, but it would be a mistake to forget about the Raiders. Don Vaughan's team is playoff-tested and plays a style that is prone to success down the stretch and in the postseason. Now that Colgate is getting healthier, it has won four straight. Goaltender Charlie Finn has a 0.75 goals against average and a .972 save percentage the last four games
It hasn't quite been the season Union was expecting after winning it all in 2014, but senior forward Daniel Ciampini has been on fire lately. The Concord, Ontario native has nine goals and four assists during his current seven-game goal streak. He has three game-winning goals during this stretch as well.
Nashville Predators draft pick Jimmy Vesey has a point in every game this season for the Harvard Crimson. The former South Shore Kings standout has been a goal scoring machine while also being an underrated passer. Up next in his quest to continue his point streak is Clarkson on Friday and St. Lawrence Saturday night.
