Every team hopes to set off their goal horn at least a few times when they play at home, but that won't be the case for RPI when they take on Miami this Saturday at Houston Fieldhouse.
On Saturday, the Engineers will host 'Autism Awareness' night. The team will be wearing special jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game to raise funds for an Autism charity. But they're also going a step further by making the game day experience more comfortable for those with autism and special needs. In an effort to cut down on audio stimulation, there will be no loud music played during breaks in action, and the team's goal horn will not be used.
Game time is 7pm on Saturday night with tickets available at rpiathletics.com/tickets.
