Schenectady, NY -- Welcome inside Messa Rink at the Achilles Center on the campus of Union College for tonight's ECAC contest between the Engineers and the Dutchmen. RPI has not defeated Union since November 13, 2010 when Seth Appert's team beat Union, 4-3, at the Houston Field House.

Let's take a look at some key figures and stats in tonight's game:

  • RPI is 6-0-2 when junior Ryan Haggerty scores a goal and 4-0-1 when Brock Higgs finds the back of the net.
  • Union is 3-1-1 when Colin Stevens plays in net compared to 1-2-1 when he does not play.
  • Union is actually better on the road. Rick Bennett's team is 2-0-1 away from Messa Rink. RPI is 3-2-0 on the road so the Engineers are better on home ice.
  • The only major statistical category that RPI has a significant advantage over Union in is the penalty kill. RPI's PK is ranked third in the ECAC compared to Union's that is ranked seventh.
